Boys Dress Code
Shirts must be purchased from www.landsend.com

Pants: Khaki or navy traditional-cut pants. Must have belt loops and pockets in front and back. No outside, designer, or contrasting stitching is permitted. Pants should not be tight or baggy fitting and should be more dressy than casual. Pants may be purchased at Lands End or other retail stores.
Shirt: Short or long-sleeve navy polo with HBA logo. No long sleeve undershirts may be worn with short sleeve polo shirts.
Must be purchased through Lands End.
Sweaters (optional):
Navy sweater. No hooded sweaters, half zip sweaters, pull-over sweaters, or sweater vests are allowed. No flannel or sweatshirt materials. Sweaters may be purchased at Lands End or other retail stores.
Belt: Brown or Navy belts with plain buckles are required. No braided or ornate belts.
Shoes: Dress brown shoes are required. No athletic shoes. No canvas- type or boots. Shoe soles should be no more than 1/2 inch and heels no more than 1 inch. Shoes must be kept clean and neat.
Athletic Shoes: Athletic shoes are required for Physical Education and for elementary recess.
Socks: Navy dress socks. No ankle or athletic socks.
Dress Uniform: (required for programs, competitions, and special occasions) Khaki pants with short sleeve uniform polo shirt.
JEWELRY: Boys jewelry is limited to a watch.
Boys’ Physical Education Uniforms (Grades 5 – 12):
SOCKS: Athletic Socks
PANTS: Navy blue or black shorts (to the knee) or dark navy blue or black nylon warm ups are allowed, including those that unzip at the knee. Navy blue or black is to be the dominant color while thin stripes of red and white down the legs or sleeves are allowed. Velcro leg ‘tear-aways’ are not allowed and the jacket should be a zippered front. Variations of this are allowed at the discretion of the administration.

Skirt: A-line or box pleat khaki or navy skirt.

Cartwheel Shorts (or bike shorts):
Any solid color cartwheel shorts to be worn under skirt. Required for girls K-6th.
Socks: Socks must be semi-dress, not athletic. Solid navy or white fold -down ankle socks, knee socks, leggings, or tights.

ATHLETIC SHOES: Athletic shoes (not heeled or platform) are required for Physical Education and for elementary recess.
MAKE-UP: Make-up may be worn by 9th— 12th grade girls if it is not too noticeable. (A limited amount of foundation may be worn by 7 –12 graders only for the purpose of covering up skin problems with administrative approval.)
NAILS: Clear nail polish (no glitter, tinting, or color) may be worn by girls in the 7th-12th grade. Artificial nails are not allowed.
JEWELRY: Jewelry should be limited to a simple ring, bracelet and/or necklace. Earrings are limited to a simple stud and must be worn in the ear lobe. Chokers, anklets, and excessive or gaudy jewelry will not be allowed.
Girls’ Physical Education Uniforms (Grades 5 – 12)
