Welcome!

At Heritage Baptist Academy, we center our entire approach around your child’s well-being, aiming to provide a secure environment—emotionally, physically, and spiritually. Rooted in Christ, our foundation believes in nurturing young minds and hearts with the essence of Christian values and teachings.

Our philosophy revolves around placing Jesus and His teachings at the core of everything we do. This profound focus shapes how students and teachers perceive the world, offering a godly perspective that imparts genuine significance and values.

We cherish daily chapel times as a special part of our routine. Each day, students come together for a time of singing hymns and learning from God’s Word. This uplifting gathering serves as a cornerstone of our commitment to nurturing both academic and spiritual growth. The singing not only brings joy to our hearts but also strengthens our sense of community. During these sessions, we delve into the teachings of the Bible, providing students with valuable insights and lessons to carry with them throughout their lives. It’s not just about education; it’s about fostering a connection to something greater. By incorporating daily chapel times, we aim to instill a strong foundation of faith and unity among our students, preparing them for both the challenges and joys that lie ahead.

From a parental viewpoint, we understand the importance of fostering Christ-like character in every child. Our goal is to embed biblical principles deep within their hearts and lives, recognizing each student’s unique abilities as gifts from God. We are committed to nurturing these talents, both spiritually and academically, to help them reach their full potential.

We decided that students should keep their cellphones away during school hours. This choice is all about creating a good learning space. It means students can really focus on their studies without getting distracted by their phones. When there are no constant beeps and messages, students can pay better attention to what they’re learning. This helps them understand things more deeply and think more critically. Plus, it encourages students to talk to each other face-to-face, which is important for building strong friendships. So, by keeping the phones out, we’re making sure our students get the most out of their education and learn important social skills too.

For us, education transcends the mere imparting of information. We strive to empower students to translate their knowledge into a purposeful, devoted life centered around Jesus Christ. Our aim is to guide them towards becoming well-rounded individuals—mentally sharp, emotionally resilient, physically active, morally upright, and spiritually connected to Jesus.

At every step, our Christ-centered philosophy permeates through our classes and activities, driven by the grace of God. Our ultimate aspiration is to mold young individuals who ardently serve the Lord with all their heart, soul, and strength.

To enroll in kindergarten, students are required to provide their birth certificate and must have up-to-date immunizations. There is no academic assessment for kindergarten.

First through Twelfth Grade

Once you’ve submitted the application, we’ll reach out to schedule an academic assessment and an interview. The academic assessment covers math, reading, and language and is conducted at our office. It typically takes between 30 minutes to 2 hours. After the assessment, we’ll have an interview. We assess academic readiness based on the results and the child’s recent report card. Our goal is to place your child in the right grade level and ensure they understand our expectations for a positive Christian school environment.

If the student aligns well with the school, considering their prior academic and behavioral records, performance in the new student assessment, positive references, and maintains good financial standing from their previous school, they may be considered for admission. We’ll let you know about your child’s acceptance into our school through email. Then, we’ll provide information packets to help you and your child prepare for the exciting upcoming school year.
